Linda Dickson, Dental Hygienist
Linda Dickson has been a dental hygienist with the practice for six years, where she’s dedicated to educating patients on how to keep their mouths healthy. She performs the full range of hygienist services, including prophylaxis cleanings, scaling and root planing, x-rays, home care instruction, and iTero digital scans.
Linda earned her degree from St. Louis Community College at Forest Park. One of her favorite parts of the job is working with the iTero scanner — she loves how much information it captures and the way it helps her teach patients about their oral health. Even more rewarding, she says, is the moment a patient learns a new habit that helps them take better care of their smile.
Her outlook on patient care reflects a broader life philosophy: do good things in the world, and you’ll help make it a better place.
Outside of work, Linda enjoys quilting and sewing, and she’s passionate about teaching people the importance of CPR and AEDs — a cause that’s especially close to her heart, as she’s a sudden cardiac arrest survivor herself. She’s a fan of ABBA’s “Dancing Queen,” loves classic films like Gone with the Wind and Pretty Woman, and counts Mexican food among her favorites.
